OLD LIBERTY CEMETERY
CASS COUNTY, TEXAS
This Cemetery is located 7.8 miles west of Queen City on
FM Road 96. Cemetery is on west side of FM 96.
It was read by Martha Young And Sondra Ayers 28 March 1994.
The Old Liberty Cemetery is located about one mile north of the
Antioch Community in Cass County on SH 96. This cemetery is on the
property deeded to Enon Primitive Baptist Church in 1861 by
Anderson Miles.
This cemetery contains about two hundred marked graves and
indications are that the unmarked graves also total about two
hundred.
There are six wars represented by grave markers: The Spanish-
American War, The Black Hawk War, The War of 1812, The Civil War,
World War I and World War II
The Enon Church building is long since gone, but the cemetery is
still being used and cared for.
